Running Up That Hill

Yaklaşık bir haftadır bu şarkı dilime dolandı. Defalarca dinledim ama hala usanmadım. Geçenlerde orada burada aranırken karşıma çıkmıştı. Kate Bush' un 1985 yılında çıkardığı Hounds of Love adlı albümündeki bu parça ilk dinlendiğinde gitarı kimin çaldığını anlamak pek zor olmuyor. Gitara çığlık attırması ve ağlatması ile tanınan David Gilmour, aynı zamanda arka vokal de yapmış. Kate Bush' un harika sesinin yanında Gilmour' ın gitarı da parçayı mükemmel bir hale getiriyor. Gitarın sesi Pink Floyd' un 1994 Pulse konserindeki tona ve gitar atraksiyonları da biraz Comfortably Numb şarkısına benziyor. Gitarı hızlı çalmadan da güzel müzik yapılabildiğini göstermek için iyi bir örnek.
